Home / Deep cleaning Oxford
A deep clean in Oxford that reaches
the parts a weekly clean never will.
For the home that has drifted, the property going on the market, the flat between tenants that stays furnished, or the house after illness, a new baby or a long winter. Fixed price by bedrooms, agreed before we start, with the limescale, grout and extractor filters that Oxford’s hard water and old kitchens hand you.
Deep cleaning prices in Oxford, published
Minimum prices by property size for an occupied, furnished property in normal condition — the exact figure is agreed in writing from your photographs before we start, and does not move once agreed. Post-build, post-party and heavily soiled properties are quoted from a short visit.
One-off deep clean, occupied home
Furnished · top to bottom · Oxford and Oxfordshire
Every price includes
Everything in a standard clean plus the parts that get skipped: behind and under furniture where it moves safely, inside cupboards and wardrobes on request, limescale on taps, screens and tiles, grout lines, extractor filters, skirting and door tops, light fittings and switches. Interior glass, frames and sills included as standard.
Same-day or under 24 hours’ notice +20%. Sundays and bank holidays +25%. Over 10 miles outside the Oxford ring road +£15. Ovens, carpets and upholstery are separate declared items. Prices exclude VAT where applicable.
Add-ons
Priced separately so the base price stays honest
If the job is materially different from the booking, the team stops, photographs it and calls you before doing any work. We never do extra work first and invoice for it afterwards.
Why a deep clean is a different job from a good regular clean
A regular clean maintains. A deep clean resets. It takes two to three times the hours, different chemistry, and someone willing to move the sofa.
Hard water is the enemy
Oxford sits in a hard-water area, so limescale builds on taps, shower screens and tiles faster than most of the country. We descale properly — dwell time, the right acid, then neutralise — rather than polishing over it.
The list is written down
You get the room-by-room specification before we arrive and a walkthrough at the end. If something on the list is not right within 24 hours, we come back within 48 and fix it, free.
Priced by the property, agreed first
No hourly meter running while the team works out how bad the extractor is. The price is fixed against what you told us; if the property is materially different, we stop and call before doing anything extra.
How it works
Three steps. Most deep cleans are booked within the week.
- 1Tell us the size and what is worrying youBedrooms, postcode, date, and the two or three things you most want fixed — the bathroom limescale, the kitchen grease, the dust behind everything.
- 2Fixed price in writingWithin 48 hours . Ovens, carpets and sofas as separate lines so you can choose.
- 3The clean and the walkthroughA drilled team, top to bottom, then a walkthrough with you against the list. Photographs if you are not there.
What we need from you
The property size, the postcode, the date, and honest photographs of the worst areas — they let us quote the right price rather than an optimistic one. If you want cupboards emptied and refilled, say so; it is an add-on because it doubles the kitchen time.
Deep cleaning across Oxford and the surrounding towns
Victorian terraces in Jericho and East Oxford, post-war semis in Headington and Marston, new-builds in Barton Park and the ring-road villages. Each has its own dirt.
Selling or letting
A deep clean before the photographs is the cheapest improvement a property can have. Estate and letting agents in Oxford book us before the listing goes live.
Older Oxford homes
Original sash windows, tiled hearths, cast radiators and kitchens that have seen thirty years of cooking. We know what can be scrubbed and what has to be treated gently.
Landlords with furnished lets
A furnished property between tenants is not an end of tenancy clean — it is a deep clean with the furniture in. Different price, different method, and we do both.
Where we work
Deep cleaning in Oxford — before you book
What is the difference between a deep clean and an end of tenancy clean?
An end of tenancy clean is for an empty property, priced to a check-out specification and signed off for the deposit. A deep clean is for an occupied, furnished home and reaches behind and under furniture, inside cupboards and into limescale and grout. Furnished properties between tenants are deep cleans.
How long does a deep clean take?
Typically five to eleven crew-hours depending on size and condition — a two-person team for half a day on a 2-bed, most of a day on a 4-bed. The price is fixed regardless.
Do you bring your own products and equipment?
Yes, including descalers, degreasers and machines. If you have allergies or want fragrance-free products, tell us at booking.
Can you deep clean after builders?
Yes, but post-build cleans are quoted from photographs or a short visit, not from the table — fine dust and paint spots change the hours.
Is the oven included?
No — oven interiors are a separate, declared item (£65 single, £90 double) because a proper strip-and-degrease takes over an hour on its own.
What if I’m not happy?
Tell us within 24 hours and we return within 48 to put it right, free. The written specification is the reference.
